The Space Coast

It's not just the 72 miles of Atlantic Coastline and beaches, the intracoastal waterway or the average temperature of 81 degrees that makes Brevard County paradise, but so much more!

The Brevard County Parks and Recreation Department manages two par 72 championship golf courses—The Savannahs at Merritt Island and The Habitat at Valkaria, and a par 67 stretched executive course—Spessard Holland at Melbourne Beach.

Water sports, swimming, sailing. world class surfing, diving and boating offer recreation for the entire family.   Fishing is plentiful; tarpon, shark, flounder, bluefish, and sea trout to name a few....Brevard has the Atlantic Ocean, Indian River, Banana River, Sebastian River and also fresh water lakes.

Central Florida attractions such as Walt Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios are just a short drive away.
